Here’s a few more photos from my first lot of scans on the Epson V700. I’m really impressed with how good this cheap scanner is, these very nearly rival the quality from the Fuji Frontier. But, it takes quite a lot of time to get through the scans which is why I’ll only be using it for personal work or portrait shoots. I wouldn’t even consider trying to scan a wedding’s worth of film! Contax 645, Zeiss Planar T* 80mm f/2, Fuji Pro 400H film, Epson V700 film scanner.

New Work New Scanner

I had a great afternoon last weekend photographing Christy. We went out to Raglan, the wind was roaring but managed to get some great shots. This is one of my favourites from the day. This is the first lot of photos I’ve run through my new Epson V700 film scanner and I’m loving the results! More to come this week. I thought I would break up the wedding photography with a quick post from Tokyo. I shot this for Viviane three days before leaving Tokyo in Daikanyama. I love the feeling I get when looking at this photograph, it feels really warm although it was shot in the middle of winter. I’ll post some more up from this shoot this week. Well finally after waiting for a couple of weeks to get this wedding back I’m finally able to give you a preview! Believe it or not but the bridesmaid called me to see if I had posted anything up yet!!
