We decided to treat ourselves to a little resort action in Izu, Japan. The unique thing about this resort is that it has been abandoned, not only is the furniture all still there but the hotel room service guides, employee ID cards, and an old station wagon. Today we went for an afternoon at the beach. Kaihin Makuhari is about a 30 minute train ride from our place and it was the first time I had been there. Safe to say I will be spending a lot of my summer weekends there, even though the signs say don’t swim… I’m not sure...
