Wow is all I can say. What an amazing day, amazing wedding, amazing couple. Thanks to Alex and Claire for having us photograph one of the most fun weddings we’ve ever been to! We’re so lucky to have the such awesome clients. Alex and Claire’s wedding was held in Raglan where guests played croquet, drank vintage glass bottled beverages and ate ice creams in the sun. This is a small selection of some shots that stood out, honestly there was so many great things to take photos of that the rest of them are just as special. I’ll be posting more from the wedding over the week before I head to Tokyo to photograph a really special wedding!

Kylie & Kea | Full Engagement Session Post

We had the best time photographing this engagement. The couple were amazing, their clothing was superb, and the location was perfect except the wicked wind. If you haven’t seen the video we shot for this couple you can see it HERE. You can see the full set we shot in our client’s section HERE (about 100 photos). For all the photographers who have been asking me about film scanning these were all scanned on an Epson V700. Mixture of Leica M7, Contax 645, Fuji Pro 400H, Fuji Reala 100, and Ilford Super XP2 film.

Here’s a few more photos from my first lot of scans on the Epson V700. I’m really impressed with how good this cheap scanner is, these very nearly rival the quality from the Fuji Frontier. But, it takes quite a lot of time to get through the scans which is why I’ll only be using it for personal work or portrait shoots. I wouldn’t even consider trying to scan a wedding’s worth of film! Contax 645, Zeiss Planar T* 80mm f/2, Fuji Pro 400H film, Epson V700 film scanner.
