September 13, 2009 - 5:19 pm Ari - You don't seem to be saying much in your latest blog editions. Too busy? Nevertheless your work is as good as ever. How was the change from the R-D1 to M8? I know the M8's sharpness is far above the other, however, which one is more fun and feels better to use?

September 13, 2009 - 9:18 pm Jason - Ari, yeah I've been pretty busy lately. I need to pick up the slack on the blogging front so your message is the motivation I needed. Thanks! I am using a couple of M8's now and sold the R-D1. The M8's are a lot nicer to work with and I really enjoy how the files are such great quality considering the camera's size. Now if only I had the money to get an M9! In my opinion there is no other camera that gives me such a great feeling to use, Leica's are truly unique. Regarding sharpness I'd say that it comes down to the glass, but the M8 has no anti aliasing filter compared to DSLR's so straight out of the camera the files are sharper. If you haven't used one I'd suggest trying to track a store down that has one and give it a try. But be warned, those are dangerous words as you might just get hooked on them.
