HI, WELCOME TO THE BLOG OF ST CLAIR PHOTOGRAPHY

We are wedding and portrait photographers based in New Zealand. We currently skip back and forth between Japan and New Zealand shooting everything from weddings to model portfolios and portrait sessions. We are available to shoot nationwide including Waikato / Auckland / Wellington / Christchurch / Dunedin, and also internationally. We shoot both medium format / 35mm film, and digital. I have so much personal work to blog! These past couple of weeks we’ve been going around cool cafes and restaurants spending our time hanging out, meeting friends and shopping. I’m really going to miss places like this, there are so many hidden treasures around Tokyo, hidden in seedy looking buildings on the eighth floor or down a creepy alley. I’m really going to miss exploring. These were shot in nearly pitch black lighting at Attic Room in Shibuya, Tokyo. Leica M7, Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1, Fuji Pro 800Z film.

January 7, 2010 - 3:40 pm ashley - Hi Jason, Lovely photos! It's been ages. From the looks of things your having a great time in japan. I just finished my first trip back to the island, apart from nick there's no one left. I started working in Taipei for asus just over a year ago, i don't like it so much but it's good money and i'm learing mandarin which i hope will be useful later. I'm hoping to make it up to japan one of these days and would be happy to see your sexy smile. play safe, ash.

About to leave though and am moving back to New Zealand for good, I leave in 5 days so you better be visiting this weekend otherwise... I heard you were working at Asus, sounds like fun to be living in Taipei, must be pretty random at times.
