Kylie & Kea | Full Engagement Session Post

We had the best time photographing this engagement. The couple were amazing, their clothing was superb, and the location was perfect except the wicked wind. If you haven’t seen the video we shot for this couple you can see it HERE. You can see the full set we shot in our client’s section HERE (about 100 photos). For all the photographers who have been asking me about film scanning these were all scanned on an Epson V700. Mixture of Leica M7, Contax 645, Fuji Pro 400H, Fuji Reala 100, and Ilford Super XP2 film.

April 27, 2010 - 4:53 pm Shaun Quinlan - Lovely set of images, really liking the consistent tones and colour you've captured, are all the colour images Pro 400H? I seem to get very inconsistent results from my V700, some images just work, they scan sharp and have good contrast, then others are just a battle to adjust contrast and colour correct. So any tips on using it would be great. Looking forward to seeing more shots from the Contax, cheers Shaun.

April 29, 2010 - 1:53 pm Jason - Thanks very much Shaun, sorry forgot to put in the description that some are Reala 100 as well as Pro 400H. I'm starting to think I should start a V700 workshop! If you hang out for a bit when I get some time after the wedding season I'll post about it.
