Still going through some of the photos I took on the first day I got my rangefinder. The view that day from the Tokyo Metropolitan Tower was so clear, I really need to head back up there, maybe the South Tower this time. These files seem to be so sharp, I’m actually starting to think...

Why there are so many scooters I have no idea
It seems everyone living in my area rides a scooter…
Kicking birds under cherry blossoms
Went out today to Ueno. Had a walk around under the sakura trees, looks like they bloomed a little earlier this year. There were a lot of people out with their cameras shooting pictures of trees, I was more interested in the two kids kicking pigeons…
Lost in translation for a night
Went to the Hyatt last night and had some farewell drinks for Natalie. Had a great time, listened to some live jazz, and enjoyed great company.
today

Well, today was both an exciting day, and an expensive day… I finally gave in to my recent obsessing and bought a rangefinder and a Voigtlander lens. I’ll post some pictures of my precious tomorrow, but here are the first of many images to come using it. These were shot from the Tokyo Metropolitan tower...
Visitor
Went for a walk to a local park today with Natalie, a possible transient visitor to Tokyo. I’m slowly getting over the honeymoon phase with my tilt shift lens, but it manages to capture such magical shots that I can’t seem to put it down..
Still Odaiba
Still going through photos from last week…
