HI, WELCOME TO THE BLOG OF ST CLAIR PHOTOGRAPHY

We are wedding and portrait photographers based in Hamilton, New Zealand. We currently skip back and forth between Japan and New Zealand shooting everything from weddings to model portfolios and portrait sessions. We are available to shoot nationwide including Waikato / Auckland / Wellington / Christchurch / Dunedin, and also internationally. We shoot both medium format / 35mm film, and also some digital. Kicking birds under cherry blossoms

Went out today to Ueno. Had a walk around under the sakura trees, looks like they bloomed a little earlier this year. There were a lot of people out with their cameras shooting pictures of trees, I was more interested in the two kids kicking pigeons…

I’ve been on a bit of a roll lately with daily updates which is cool. Today I went out and took some photos around Kasairinkai Koen. Again these were all shot with the rangefinder, I’m still getting used to it but I think I got some pretty mint images today.

Guilty as charged

Visitor

Went for a walk to a local park today with Natalie, a possible transient visitor to Tokyo. I’m slowly getting over the honeymoon phase with my tilt shift lens, but it manages to capture such magical shots that I can’t seem to put it down..
