We are a couple who have a passion for all things visual. Coming from creative backgrounds we strive to produce imagery that is fresh and unique. We have lived in Tokyo for the previous four years working in the design, photography, and magazine industries and found our true passion lies in wedding and portrait photography. We shoot medium format and 35mm film along with some digital. We use the best cameras and lenses available, Hasselblad, Contax, and Leica. All of our film is developed by a professional lab and scanned at high resolution so that you can have the film negatives and digital files, the best of both worlds. You can feel safe that your photos will be around for future generations. We are based in Hamilton, New Zealand but available nationwide and internationally.

Our photography is our main point of difference, we value imagery and the stories and messages that can be captured. Weddings are full of stories and emotions and not everyone is able to see these all of the time, especially the bride and groom as they are usually busy thinking about a million things. Our photography will open your eyes to see all the beautiful moments that happened around you that you may have missed on the day.

We come to the wedding day with an open mind without preconceptions of what "Wedding Photography" should look like. This helps us be receptive to the real emotions that are present on the day. We capture all of the excitement and magic without being restricted, and help to tell your wedding day as a story, rather than a collection of photographs.
Of course we still like to capture some family formals for you but we will try to put our own unique spin on this so it feels modern and fresh.

After the wedding is over all that remains is the wedding photography. The flowers have withered, the cake has been eaten, and the dress is in a box. The photography should be timeless and tell the events of the day to future generations, and that is what we can create for you.
